DESIGN & SYSTEMS ARCHITECTHello,
I’m Biunca.
Trust is a design material. Most companies treat it as a disclosure.
I help organisations design the trust layer between themselves and their customers' data, so that privacy becomes a commercial asset, and not a compliance burden.

sERVICESHow I can help.
I work with organisations that hold customer data at scale and with the teams inside them who have to make that defensible, usable, and honest at the same time. Bridging the gap between compliance application, consent models and ultimately how the end customer experiences it.
-
How an organisation structures informing customers what data it holds, what it does with it, and what control they have — designed into the CX rather than disclosed in Collection Notices, T&Cs, and Privacy Policies alone. Communication and consent treated as a design problem with commercial consequences. Privacy and Legal teams + regulation become an input to the design requirements, as opposed to a review gate at the end.
Ideal for: Organisations holding customer data at scale, consolidating customer records, or preparing for privacy reform.
What you’ll get: Discovery documentation mapping internal, regulatory, and competitor landscapes. Consent model design (qualities of consent and their collection mechanisms). Communication model design (ToV Guidelines, channel rules, and templates). Governance model showing where data flows from primary collection to downstream beneficiaries. All grounded in regulation dependent on locale (Australian Privacy Principles, GDPR).
-
Governance designed in from the beginning, with automation governed to the same standard as human decisions. Building in the institutional guardrails first, then automate against it, so that an agent has a defensible reasoning for its decision-making.
Ideal for: Organisations migrating towards agentic implementation, or with existing agentic resourcing missing SOPs. Anyone facing ADM disclosure obligations.
What you’ll get: Agent OS templates (orchestrator to sub-agent relationship mapping). Human-in-the-loop checkpoints. Change and version control standards. Risk classification, with phased rollout from manual to automated. Custom agentic playbooks and training, scoped as org-wide standards for multi-purpose deployment, and knowledge sharing.
-
Diagnosis before strategy. Finding the step(s) where errors originate and cascade in existing systems. Discerning between keeping in what works, and what doesn’t through to the new model — using the findings to define a new standard.
Ideal for: Teams or services operating on tribal knowledge, long lead times, and no standard documented processes, wanting something repeatable.
What you’ll get: End-to-end service map across all stakeholder touch points. Playbooks and SOPs. Facilitated workshops for team adoption and up-skill.
-
The structural layer beneath the design function and CX: how design and engineering actually speak to each other, and how output (governance documentation, token architecture, and component maintenance) remains consistent in production. When systems run smoothly, people do their best work. I partner with teams to strengthen processes, clarify roles, and build the kind of foundations that support sustainable growth.
Ideal for: Design or product teams navigating inefficiencies, scale, or growing pains.
What you’ll get: Design systems. Workflow audits. Tailored systems and governance frameworks for team rituals, levelling, 1:1s, and culture building.
-
The visible layer: UI/UX design, identity systems, and the tone and messaging that carries them. Your product and brand is the bridge between what you do, and how it makes people feel.
Ideal for: Businesses launching, evolving, or realigning their brand to reflect who they truly are.
What you’ll get: Hands-on support. Visual identity systems. Tone of voice guidelines. Messaging frameworks and templates that encourage consistency across all touch points.
PHILOSOPHYHow I work.
I care about building symbiotic relationships, not transactions. The best design happens when trust is mutual, curiosity stays alive, and everyone feels part of the process.
Working with me means having a partner who listens deeply, challenges thoughtfully, and navigates ambiguity with confidence. I bring systemic thinking and empathy to every collaboration — adapting to your context, whether that means embedding within your team or guiding from a strategic distance.
Stay curious
01Expertise is one thing; curiosity is another. I approach every project as a learner — open to new technologies, methods, and ideas that uncover what truly serves the work.
Pay it forward
02Design is a team sport. I share knowledge generously, and build so the work outlives the engagement. Growth happens when trust and curiosity are flowing both ways.
Create with purpose
03Every design decision should serve a clear intention. I focus on meaningful impact that aligns commercial goals with human sovereignty and trust building. Measure, learn, adapt, repeat.
A bit about my journey.
Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, I grew up with a deep appreciation for creativity and hard work, influenced by my father’s career as a creative/art director. A one-way ticket to Berlin at 24 turned into a decade-long journey of growth, collaboration, and cultural immersion that shaped my design philosophy and my never-ending pursuit of learning.
I’ve spent over 15 years working across design, strategy, and leadership — from early-stage startups to global teams. My work has always been about connecting people, purpose, and systems in ways that fit each environment. I enjoy finding the balance between creating guardrails that protect brand integrity, data, and the customer experience, while keeping flexible enough to grow as the business, technology, and regulation evolves.
After years in-house, I realised what I loved most wasn’t just designing digital products — I still love designing digital products. What pulled me deeper was what sits underneath them. Technology has moved faster than the rules meant to govern it, and the distance between what a business can do with customer data and what a customer understands about it keeps widening. Closing that distance is the work now — showing that commercial performance, customer trust, and regulatory obligation can be designed for together rather than traded against each other, with humanity, integrity and impact at the centre.
Now, as an independent consultant, I partner with companies around the world who share similar values, guiding them through design transformation, ethical, and conscious integration of AI. My approach to AI is grounded in curiosity and discernment: filtering through the noise to uncover what’s practical, what’s possible, and what’s truly transformative.
No matter the project, my aim stays the same: to advocate for the value of great design, meeting teams where they are, and guiding them towards strategic, sustainable ways to scale, while never losing sight of why we’re striving for the next level of impact.
